Carl Coken is the General Manager of IoT within the Partner Devices and Solutions organization at Microsoft Corp. His worldwide team is responsible for working with partners to help them build IoT solutions using Microsoft’s Azure IoT cloud services and other products and technologies.

Previously at Microsoft, Mr. Coken has held a variety of roles including Sr. Director of Worldwide OEM Server Engineering and Director of Strategic Alliances for the Management Solutions Division where he was responsible for the partner ecosystem for Microsoft’s System Center product family. Mr. Coken brings to Microsoft a wealth of experience in technology marketing, sales, engineering, alliances, as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Coken held senior positions at SMARTS (a startup acquired by EMC), BMC Software, Inc., Digital Equipment Corp., and Compaq Computer Corp., both now part of Hewlett-Packard.

Tony Shakib leads Microsoft’s IoT Business Acceleration (IBA) team inside Azure engineering organization and drives the Azure IoT Eco-system and strategic business engagements for top 100 IoT Enterprise Accounts, Partners, Developers and ISV/Startups.

Tony is accountable for IoT customer value realization, business development, rapid solution deployment, joint customer GTM programs and accelerating time and process to large-scale commercial deployments.

The IBA team focuses on top industries such as IIoT/Manufacturing, Mobility/Connected Vehicle, Smart Spaces/Utilities, Retail, Healthcare, and Agriculture.

Microsoft IoT team develops unique IoT/AI/ML technologies and digital solutions for all industries. Microsoft is also the leader in the hybrid intelligent cloud and edge architectures and provides a comprehensive Platform-as-a-service and Software-as-a-service (IoT Central) capabilities for rapidly developing and deploying massively scalable IoT applications.

Tony has more than 27 years of business leadership and management experience in the communications space. As Vice President of IoT Vertical Business Solutions for Cisco, Tony led Cisco’s Internet of Things business development, Industrial solutions creation, Vertical thought leadership and customer relevancy across process manufacturing (oil & gas and mining), discrete manufacturing, transportation, utilities, smart city, M2M, retail, and defense verticals. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering with honors in Math from McMaster and Brock Universities in Ontario, Canada.

Ameer Reza Jalal is a Field Tech Consultant on Tech Data’s IoT and Analytics Team, focused on enabling partners to build IoT practices, from data collection to evidence-fueled insights. Ameer bridges the gap between business enablement and technical expertise, working in all major vertical areas architecting IoT solutions, even providing onsite assessments to determine the best IoT solution to business pain points.

As a Cloud Solution Architect in the Arrow Cloud Digital Group, Bryan brings 20+ years of technical solutioning and thought leadership. Since joining Arrow in January 2015, he has served as technical subject matter expert for such products as VMware vCloud Air, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud and others. Most recently, Bryan has been focused on Microsoft Azure and serves as Arrows lead Architect for IoT solutions involving Microsoft Azure. In the past 20+ years, Bryan has helped countless enterprise customers to develop and deploy highly available, reliable solutions. His experiences range from building out fiber networks for such entities as El Paso / Teller County 911 Authority and Memorial Hospital, to more recently architecting complete end to end Microsoft Azure IoT solutions leveraging services like Azure IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, Cosmos DB and PowerBI, to help Arrow customers to deliver robust IoT offerings to their customers.

Devin Scott leads Stealth Power focusing on the company’s mission – conservation through innovation. Stealth Power was created as a natural evolution of Scott’s richly diverse business and environmental expertise: He began his career as an environmental and real-estate attorney with the international law firm of Graham & James; cofounded Restoration Cleaners; and served as CEO of American Energy Sales, an energy brokerage firm with almost 500 sales representatives nationwide. Scott received his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. Scott and his wife, Karyn, also cofounded the charitable organization Kids In a New Groove, which provides private music mentoring and lessons free to children in foster care.

Rob is responsible for corporate strategy, M&A and portfolio management at AVEVA. This includes corporate business strategy, investment direction for the software portfolio as well as incubating new business initiatives, identifying M&A opportunities, managing technical alliances, and working with the various business units and functions to operationalize the business strategy at AVEVA.

Rob has over 20 years of experience working in the software business with a focus on manufacturing and industrial applications, serving markets such as water, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas and Power. He is named on over 25 patents and has held leadership positions within sales, product marketing and business management for various companies within the industrial market.

Outside of work, Rob divides his time between his family and staying active: most of his time is spent with his wife and 3 children and he likes to stay active by running, biking and swimming / participating in triathlon.

Adi Hariharan is the Director of Product Marketing for Windows 10 IoT and Windows 10 Pro. He previously worked in Microsoft Operations where he led the launch efforts for Windows 10. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Rebecca Christiansen leads Microsoft’s Azure IoT Co-Sell sales for the Americas, as part of the Worldwide IoT and Mixed Reality Sales team. Rebecca is responsible for driving accelerated IoT growth through Microsoft partners that have developed repeatable IoT solutions, bringing them to market at scale through GTM, sales readiness and co-sell program enablement. She has been with Microsoft for 5 years, spending her time working with OEM’s developing their IoT Strategy and onboarding their devices to Microsoft’s Azure Commercial Cloud while helping them monetize new revenue streams and digitally transform. Prior to her work in the IoT space, Rebecca worked as a regional sales development manager with one of Microsoft’s largest OEM partners to build and accelerate the growth of the US Windows business.

Prior to Microsoft, Rebecca spent nearly 10 years at Intel in Washington DC and California, spanning corporate finance and sales executive roles, most recently managing business development and sales execution for Hewlett Packard North America.

Olivier Bloch is the Principal Program Manager at Microsoft in the Azure IoT team. His focus is on developer experience and advocating for IoT developers.

Olivier started in the IoT space as an embedded developer and consultant and later became the Technical Evangelist for Microsoft France, then called Microsoft Corp. He has three years of experience in Microsoft Open Technologies, where he engaged with open source communities on topics ranging from Web and JavaScript to gaming and IoT.

Dr. Rashmi Misra heads Artificial Intelligence Business Development, for Microsoft.

Working closely with ecosystem partners, customers and product teams Rashmi is responsible for proving forefront solutions and partnerships combining AI, mixed reality and Edge as well as other emergent technologies at Microsoft.

Rashmi has been at the forefront of intelligent systems for over 20 years, managing network applications, cloud, media, IoT and M2M businesses for HPE where most recently she was the Head of AI Solutions for High Performance Compute solutions.

Rashmi previously led Motorola's worldwide System Integration portfolio and was instrumental in deploying some of the first expert and AI systems mobile networks. She owns six international patents for intelligent optimisation, automated network health and monetisation of traffic on telecom networks.

Rashmi has a doctorate in Artificial Intelligence on Multi-Agent Reasoning Systems, from Exeter University, UK and an MBA from Warwick University, UK.

Dave Gosch leads Scope AR's sales, partnering and solution initiatives, enabling clients across the industrial landscape to capture escaping knowledge, accelerate training and overcome the worker shortage and skills gap affecting their front-line workforce and productivity.

As a career industrial technologist and business creator, Dave has been a part of several pioneering movements including the proliferation of robotics, embedded machine control, ML based analytics and now 3D AR work instructions and remote assistance. These precursors of IIoT and edge computing enabled the growth of Semiconductor, Paper, Food & Beverage, Electrical Utilities and several other industries. Previous roles include VP Sales & Product at Tenta Technology (acquired by MKS Instruments) and VP Business Development of IAP Solutions.

Dave holds a B.S. Electrical & Computer Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin. He lives in San Mateo, CA, with his family, loves the outdoors and is a former member of the USA Rugby Team.
