Rebecca Christiansen leads Microsoft’s Azure IoT Co-Sell sales for the Americas, as part of the Worldwide IoT and Mixed Reality Sales team. Rebecca is responsible for driving accelerated IoT growth through Microsoft partners that have developed repeatable IoT solutions, bringing them to market at scale through GTM, sales readiness and co-sell program enablement. She has been with Microsoft for 5 years, spending her time working with OEM’s developing their IoT Strategy and onboarding their devices to Microsoft’s Azure Commercial Cloud while helping them monetize new revenue streams and digitally transform. Prior to her work in the IoT space, Rebecca worked as a regional sales development manager with one of Microsoft’s largest OEM partners to build and accelerate the growth of the US Windows business.

Prior to Microsoft, Rebecca spent nearly 10 years at Intel in Washington DC and California, spanning corporate finance and sales executive roles, most recently managing business development and sales execution for Hewlett Packard North America.

Lou Lutostanski was named vice president, Internet of Things (IoT) for Avnet in March 2017. In this role, he works across the company to identify and create opportunities to leverage Avnet’s capabilities and expand the company’s reach and expertise to entrepreneurs, startups, leading technology OEMs and other IoT innovators, enabling them to bring IoT solutions to market, from idea to production. He reports to Pete Bartolotta, Chief Transformation Officer for Avnet.

Lutostanski has 30 years of experience and industry knowledge. He joined Avnet in 1987 as a system sales manager. Throughout the next 13 years, he gained increasing responsibility as a field application engineer, sales manager, branch manager, and vice president, area director. Lou left Avnet in 2000 and spent 12 years at Motorola/Freescale where he served as the global vice president of sales covering Hewlett Packard and Motorola, and then as vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas. Since his return to Avnet in 2013, he has served as vice president of sales for the Americas and as vice president of demand creation for the Americas.

Lutostanski graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and earned an MBA from Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville. He resides in Austin, Texas.

As part of Microsoft’s Global Black Belt team, Sally (@sallyafrank) helps healthcare companies use IoT to improve patient outcomes and efficiency.

With more than 20 years in the technology industry, she helps providers, payers, medical device, pharmaceutical and life sciences companies use IoT, machine learning, predictive analytics and artificial intelligence to meet the changing demands of the healthcare industry. Focused on business outcomes, Sally has been advising customers about IoT for more than 5 years, starting in the manufacturing sector before focusing on healthcare.

She holds an MBA from The George Washington University (Washington, DC), an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and a BS in Marketing and Computer Science from Virginia Tech.

Chad Lich is a Sr. IoT Technical Specialist with Microsoft based in St. Louis, Missouri. He is focused on building Edge-to-Action IoT enabled products and services with enterprise companies across the Americas.

Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Lich worked with Build-A-Bear as the Director of BI and Bearvelopment and Intelligrated (Honeywell Company) as the Director of BI and Development, leading teams and building solutions to take advantage of business opportunities. Chad holds a Bachelors in Information Management from Webster University and a Masters of Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University.

With over 14 years of experience at leading tech companies, Rasheed has owned the end-to-end sale and delivery of sophisticated solutions in the areas of IoT, Artificial Intelligence, and Security.

While guiding customers through their digital transformation, specifically in the Healthcare and Life Sciences verticals, he's helped organizations uncover new revenue models, position process effeciencs, and growth through innovative approaches.

Dedicated to driving client success at Microsoft, Rasheed is responsible for enabling adoption and commercialization of intelligent edge solutions as a Sr. Sales Specialist for IoT Devices.

Rasheed holds a bachelor's in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Thomas Utech, Pharm.D. is a licensed pharmacist and a leading industry expert for Medication Management.

Dr. Utech has extensive experience in hospital pharmacy operations for both inpatient and outpatient medication management. While at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, He was the Assistant Director of Pharmacy responsible for pharmaceutical contracting and financial planning, the inpatient and outpatient operations, the county welfare and employee pharmaceutical benefits program, the Ryan White Program and the 340B drug program. Most recently, Tom was responsible for the Pharmacy Operations at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas covering four hospitals on their main campus. He was responsible for budgeting, purchasing and daily operation for medication logistics and safety.

Tom has nearly 20 years of industry experience and has served in various capacities at Cardinal Health and CareFusion (now BD), from clinical support for the sales organization to leading the strategy and innovation pipeline for the entire dispensing technology portfolio. Tom was the lead business architect for the transformational ES Platform at BD. This foundation, along with other core products in the portfolio, was leveraged to launch BD HealthSightTM, a unique combination technology, analytics and services that connects and delivers new value to customers through a connected medication management platform. Tom currently leads the Integrated Solutions business within BD, which is the informatics and analytics platform dedicated to delivering outcomes to customers focused on medication safety, inventory optimization and clinician efficiency. Tom continues to focus his career on transforming medication management for the industry and delivering meaningful solutions and technology to customers.

Dr. Utech earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed a General Pharmacy Practice Residency from the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. He is a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

Gordon Blackwell serves as an IoT Solution Architect at Microsoft with global experience in designing, deploying and managing innovative technology solutions that targets the retail industry. Within this role, Gordon aligns industry trends and emerging business opportunities with the Microsoft intelligent cloud/edge portfolio, advising stakeholders and partners. Leveraging deep industry experience, Gordon offers a multi-dimensional perspective as well as an entrepreneurial acumen often valuable to enable strategic solutions for complex IoT business challenges.

Prior to joining Microsoft, Gordon has held multiple senior technical and management roles over 22 years within firms in the healthcare and energy industries, sizing from startup ventures to Fortune 500. Gordon obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Business from Furman University as well as an MBA from Phoenix University. Gordon's natural creativity and unending curiosity fuels his excitement to dig deep into the weeds of complex challenges. You will often find him developing code for POC’s and tinkering with IoT devices.

Gordon has held multiple senior technical and management roles for over 30 years (20 at Microsoft) focusing initially on database technologies and then into the embedded and IoT segments. Given his development background, Gordon is keenly aware to ensure that business goal outcomes are respected and designed rather than focusing on a single possible technical implementation.
